During the 15th world
Congress of the WFD, Deaf children and adolescents from all over
the world will participate in this camp full of sports activities,
cultural activities, adventure sports and workshops. This will be
an excellent opportunity to discover other cultures and exchange
cultural experiences. While living together the children and adolescents
will be led by deaf and hearing counsellors which in turn will favour
both personal development and social abilities in a stimulating
and relaxing atmosphere.
The camp will be divided into 2 big groups of 6 to 12 year olds
and 13 to 17 year olds.
Those running the camp are counsellors with ample experience in
camps and activities for children.
The participants will also enjoy the opening and closing ceremonies
of the 15th Congress of the WFD and receive the visit from the leaders
of the Deaf community.

Durante el XV Congreso Mundial,
la infancia y adolescencia sorda de todo el mundo partici-pará
en este encuentro lleno de actividades deportivas, culturales, de
aventura y talleres donde habrá la oportunidad de conocer
dife-rentes culturas y de intercambiar experien-cias. La convivencia
entre niños, adolescentes y el liderazgo de monitores sordos
favorecerá el desarrollo personal y las habilidades sociales
de los participantes, en un ambiente estimulante y distendido.
El encuentro estará dividido en dos grandes grupos de 6 a
12 años y de 13 a 17. Se adaptarán las actividades
a cada franja de edad.
Los responsables son monitores con una larga experiencia en campamentos
y actividades juveniles e infantiles.
Los participantes también disfrutarán de los actos
de apertura y clausura del Congreso de la WFD así como líderes
de la comunidad sorda internacional visitarán al encuentro.
